Heidi Serra received the young researcher award 2015 from the Bettencourt-Schueller foundation.
This prestigious prize, attributed for the quality of both the candidate's PhD research and Post-doc project, is awarded each year to 14 young promising doctors in life and medical science, to enable them to conduct their post-doctoral project in the best international laboratories.
Heidi carried out her PhD research in the GReD team «Recombination and Maintenance of Genome Stability» (C White/ M.Gallego) and is now extending this work through a post-doc in the laboratory of Ian Henderson, University of Cambridge (UK).
