1994-1998: PhD Université L. Pasteur,IGBMC (Strasbourg), director Dr. P. Dollé. Research topic: Characterisation of RA inducible genes expressed during  mouse development (supervisors Dr. P. Dollé and Prof. P. Chambon).


We are looking for a Post-Doc!

Our team is interested in deciphering the molecular mechanisms regulating one of the first cell differentiation event that takes place in the embryo: the binary specification of epiblast (Epi) and Primitive Endoderm (PrE) within the Inner Cell Mass of the blastocyst during preimplantation.

We have recently described the role of Nanog (Frankenberg et al, 2011 Dev Cell) and Gata6 (Bessonnard et al, 2014 Development) and shown that the balance between these two transcription factors determines the number and the timing of Epi and PrE cell specification.

In collaboration with the team of A. Goldbeter/ G. Dupont a mathematical model was built (Bessonnard et al, 2014 Development) , uncovering novel features that were are currently investigating.
