Charlene Guillot obtained her PhD in 2014 from the University of Marseille-Luminy in France, in the field of Developmental Biology. She then moved to Boston, USA as a postdoctoral fellow in the laboratory of Olivier Pourquie in the department of pathology at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and the department of Genetics at Harvard Medical School. In 2021, Dr Guillot became a Group leader at the iGReD in Clermont Ferrand, France where her research focuses on the role of environmental cues for posterior axis development in vertberates.
